Website privacy
Last updated 21 September 2026
This notice explains the limited information received when you visit webslice.co.uk or contact WebSlice by email. The website is intentionally simple and does not track people for marketing.
Who we are
WebSlice is the data controller for personal information processed through this website.
You can contact us about privacy at info@webslice.co.uk.
Information we receive
When the site is requested, ordinary server security logs can receive the request IP address, request time, path and status, plus the browser user-agent and referrer where your browser supplies them. These records help keep the site available and investigate misuse.
If you choose to email us, we receive the address you write from and the information you put in your message. The site has no contact form and does not collect an enquiry before your email provider sends it.
Why we use information
- We use limited server records to protect and operate the site under our legitimate interests in security and reliability.
- We use messages to answer support or pre-contract questions, provide requested help, and take steps connected with our agreement with you.
- We use or retain information where necessary to meet a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
We retain website security logs for 30 days. We normally retain support and troubleshooting correspondence for 12 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or needed for an active dispute.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@webslice.co.uk to make a request.
You may also complain to theInformation Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's data-protection regulator.
